I worked a little late tonight, and Dan came to pick me up at the light rail station. Sometime between him leaving the house and getting to the station, something knocked out power to a huge grid of Seattle, leaving over 4K people in the dark. This included both the light rail station intersection (Othello & MLK) and our house. So we returned home to a dark house, and were initially disappointed we would've be able to make the dinner we planned... Until we realized we now have a gas stove, and could still make the California Chicken Club sandwiches and soup we wanted to.
