Cafe Flora



Tonight Dan & I met up with a coworker of his and his wife for dinner. Because she's vegetarian, and Dan had a great experience there last week, we chose Cafe Flora.

I ordered the Yakima Valley Polenta. It features a sauce of bing cherries in port wine sauce, with snap peas, Walla Walla onions, and Cambazola blue cheese. It turns out Dan ordered the same thing when he was there previously. It was great. Nice and light but with striking flavors. I felt compelled to order a local beer, but everything sounded super hoppy, so I went with a Stella.

I hadn't been to Cafe Flora in years and years, but will surely go back now that Dan & I both find we enjoy their fare.
