Shrimp & Pasta with Spicy White Cheddar Sauce



This evening's dinner was a simple white sauce with cheddar cheese & red pepper flakes, over shrimp and angel hair pasta. Nothing too exciting, though Dan & I both enjoyed the flavors and will definitely make a white cheddar sauce again. It was basically a tablespoon of butter, melted in a pan, to which I added a tablespoon of flour and stirred thoroughly, before adding in (maybe) a cup or so of milk and kept whisking until it thickened a bit - at which point I added about a 1/2 cup of white cheddar, and added more milk to get the consistency right, then seasoned with red pepper flakes, salt, and white pepper.
