A lighter version of the Taco Casserole we've made in the past, using layers of corn tortillas instead of corn chips, and omitting the sour cream. We also used ground pork from Skagit River Ranch, rather than beef.
an unpretentious foodie with a love of trying new recipes and new ingredients - from ants eaten live to braised goat, hawaiian mac salad to naan with daal, okinawan sweet potato pie to my Mom's classic zucchini bread. I enjoy a multi course meal at a hot new spot as much as the comfort and familiarity of a chain restaurant. But most of all, I love making beautiful food that tastes good, trying new techniques and learning the science of food in the process.
And I don't turn my nose up at a good cocktail, either.
