Tonight we made a quick week night favorite, Cashew Chicken, using the recipe from our most-used cookbook: Quick & Easy Thai Cuisine. And as usual, we added extra chicken and cashews, and served it with rice.
an unpretentious foodie with a love of trying new recipes and new ingredients - from ants eaten live to braised goat, hawaiian mac salad to naan with daal, okinawan sweet potato pie to my Mom's classic zucchini bread. I enjoy a multi course meal at a hot new spot as much as the comfort and familiarity of a chain restaurant. But most of all, I love making beautiful food that tastes good, trying new techniques and learning the science of food in the process.
And I don't turn my nose up at a good cocktail, either.
