Dan picked me up after work and we headed to El Sombrero in Columbia City. Unfortunately, we hadn't planned it, so I didn't bring my camera to work... and I forgot to ask Dan to bring it. So no photos of his chicken quesadillas or my chipotle shrimp.
I caused a bit of a stir when I got my food. I happened to have an empty Lock & Lock container with me, so I took it into the restaurant - knowing full well that I wouldn't (or shouldn't) eat everything on my plate. It also freed me up to order something bigger, since I would only be eating half.
When my food arrived, I spooned half of the rice, beans, and chipotle shrimp into my container and set it aside. Both the woman at the table next to us (who was super friendly), and the waitress asked about it. They both thought it was a pretty good idea.
