Seafood, Mexican Style

As a treat for being good about eating at home, taking leftovers for lunch, and generally keeping a tight reign on our finances, we decided to go to El Sombrero tonight. We had our usual margaritas, and both enjoyed selections from their seafood menu.

I had the seafood chimichanga, and Dan had the shrimp enchiladas.

It was also Park(ing) Day today - a global art project where people are encouraged to reclaim parking spots for the day, turning them into mini-parks. Two groups of people in Columbia City did just that, and I got this picture of one outside an art gallery. They had free coffee, sod and plants, and invited people to paint on one of the canvases they has set up.
