Carne Asada Tacos & Butter Cake

For dinner tonight, we marinated some stir-fry beef (thinly sliced pieces) from Skagit River Ranch that we've been taking out of and putting back in the freezer again and again. It seemed cursed, as every time we planned to use it, we ended up needing to change our plans for one reason or another. Thankfully, it turned out to be anything but cursed, making a delicious carne asada taco paired with some avocado, heirloom tomato, and cheese.

For dessert, we dug into a big slice of buttery bundt cake that Jonathan made and sent us home with (along with some beer he brewed, which we'll surely be writing about in the future). The cake reportedly included an entire pound of butter, and it was certainly buttery and delicious.
