Field Roast with Mashed Potatoes & Kale

I helped out with meal planning this week by going over old posts on this blog, and making a list of dishes we haven't had in awhile. One of those was field roast with mashed potatoes & gravy, and a green vegetable - in this case some kale from our garden that I cooked with various herbs like fennel seed and celery seed.
