I ended up buying twice as much dungeness crab as we needed for the crab cakes Saturday, so we decided to make some crab enchiladas. The filling was the crab meat, plus diced avocado and roasted corn, plus some onion and seasonings.
an unpretentious foodie with a love of trying new recipes and new ingredients - from ants eaten live to braised goat, hawaiian mac salad to naan with daal, okinawan sweet potato pie to my Mom's classic zucchini bread. I enjoy a multi course meal at a hot new spot as much as the comfort and familiarity of a chain restaurant. But most of all, I love making beautiful food that tastes good, trying new techniques and learning the science of food in the process.
And I don't turn my nose up at a good cocktail, either.
