Christmas Dinner

For Christmas dinner, Carolyn made up a veritable log of prime rib for the family, a jumbo sized can of green beans, mashed potatoes and gravy and rolls, along with tomatoes, pickles and other accompaniments. Dan, Lisa and I hung out at a card table in the living room with our nephew Blake (9yo), while the rest of the family dined in the dining room. Blake is always fun to chat with, and he had me and Lisa in stitches when he referred to some other kid as a "red-headed stepchild". Hi-larious.

Also of note: Matt drew my name in the gift exchange, and got me the hedge trimmer I've been wanting. So watch out juniper! I'm coming for you this Spring!
