For lunch today, my former boss took me out to lunch at McCormick & Schmick's, downstairs from our offices to catch up a bit about life, work and stuff.
Their lunch menu features a 10 for $10 option, and I decided to try something I've never had before - an oyster po' boy sandwich. It was a little messy (thanks to the tartar sauce), and didn't have a lot of strong flavors (I think I've spoiled my taste buds with spicing everything up so much), but was a satisfying lunch, and an option I would go for again. If I tried making them at home, I might go with a spicy aoili instead of tartar, just to add a little more kick to the sandwich.
