Hawaii Day 2: Benedict and Ben's

This morning, we grabbed breakfast at our hotel, and both went for their island take on eggs benedict - which included three poached eggs over english muffins, hollandaise, avocado, rock shrimp, and more. Very rich and delicious, but a heavy start to the day.

Later on, we popped into Huggo's On the Rocks for some Lilikoi Margaritas and lunch.

We shared some great ahi poke served stacked between fried wontons...

And a chicken quesadilla.

For dinner, we tried out Bongo Ben's, which replaced Durty Jakes underneath Lulu's. The place was packed (a good sign, we hoped) and service was quick and friendly. Plus, they had live music (albeit country).

I went for a fish taco wrap, and sipped a bottomless glass of Arnold Palmer (iced tea & lemonade).
